3D scanning was time-consuming and therefore expensive. The South Tyrolean startup Covision Media , which won the Brandnew Award in the Sports Technology & Platforms category at the ISPO sports trade fair in 2022 , has developed a 3D scanner that, using artificial intelligence, can quickly create three-dimensional images at the touch of a button.
